Background
We are seeking a highly experienced digital marketing professional to deliver a comprehensive training program for students at our TVET center. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing an engaging and interactive training program using the approved Bits School curriculum in digital marketing. The goal of the program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to be more employable in the private and public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement an engaging and interactive training program using the approved Bits School curriculum in digital marketing for students at the Bits Schools TVET centers
- Ensure that the training covers a wide range of digital marketing topics such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC), Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, and Analytics and Metrics among others
- Ensure that the training provides students with hands-on experience in digital marketing
- Provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to be more employable in the private and public sector, including understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, familiarity with various digital marketing tools and platforms, ability to create and execute digital marketing campaigns, and understanding of how to measure and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts tools.
- To monitor student progress and make recommendations to the reporting manager if any interventions are needed to bridge the gap.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the training program based on student feedback and industry trends
- To take proactive steps to ensure that the center /classroom is functioning at optimum and providing the best possible learning experience for students. For instance, the trainer would be responsible for setting up of IT equipment or ensuring students receive the relevant pre-tests and post-tests as each module is delivered.
- Mentor & guide students to make them perfect in the subject.
- Ensure quality delivery of training as per our norms and schedule
- To be on the constant hunt for case studies, trends and best practices in the digital space to be able to provide the right references in class.
- Stay current with digital marketing best practices and industry developments
Qualifications:
- 3- 5+ years of experience in Digital Marketing preferably through working in an educational institute or similar duties
- Fantastic communication skills and ability to deliver course material with full confidence and vigor for sessions ranging from 2 to 4 hours Fluent oral as well as written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, as well as various digital marketing tools and platforms
- Excellent presentation and training skills
- Strong ability to create and execute digital marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Somali & English
- Experience in working with TVET centers or similar educational institutions is a plus
- A good team player who believes in the concept of ‘train and get trained at the same time
- A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is desirable
