About the job

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for our team in Somalia.

Job responsibilities.

  • Manage end to end HR operations and maintain a strong HR department coordination between country operations and set priorities with HR Manager in Dubai.
  • Resolve employee queries and grievances and ensure optimal employee relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Overseeing management all staff work permits and visas in liaison with the Travel Coordinator.
  • Prepare and coordinate all international staff payroll related tasks like CIC, bank details changes and payroll reconciliations for additions and deductions.
  • Identify staff development and training needs in coordination with the line managers and ensure the appropriate training is obtained.
  • Prepare monthly HR & CEO report for country management and other periodic reports requested. Manage all UN documentation process as and when required -- UN Note Verbale process of all UN projects as per the SOP, monthly headcount.
  • Provide Leadership in employee relations, legislation compliance in and effectively manage any emergency related issues of queries.
  • Coordinate with line managers in classification of positions, preparation of class specifications, job analysis and headcount forecasting.
  • Participate in the selection and deployment of local staff, ensuring highest quality is hired.
  • Manage, prepare, and coordinate all associated activities with the Country Manager for the monthly HR Clinics and Monthly Staff meeting.
  • Any other duties as tasked by the line manager.

Qualifications and Education requirements.

  • Remote experience is a MUST have.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 -7 years' experience in HR field.
  • Strong professional presence and ability to interface with executive level managers.
  • Strong judgement and good problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point.
  • Superior Teamwork skills.
  • Attention to Detail skills.
